ASIST is a two-day, evidence-based workshop designed to equip participants with the skills to recognize when someone may be at risk of suicide and to intervene in a way that supports their immediate safety. Suitable for both clinical and non-clinical professionals, ASIST teaches a structured model for suicide intervention through interactive practice, group discussions, and role-play. Participants learn how to engage openly with individuals in crisis, explore risk factors, and develop a collaborative safety plan. ASIST aims to increase confidence and competence in suicide prevention and create a network of trained helpers across communities.
